President's Message- August 12, 2008 Welcome to the New England Crisis Negotiators Association website. Our association members are from all over New England. They are the men and women who are in the field of Crisis/Hostage negotiation; they have chosen to be the person who helps save someone's life. We are also part of The National Council of Negotiation Associations and were a founding member. As the newly elected president I look forward to continuing serving the members of the association. I would like to thank the present and past board members for everything they have done. Our association improves each day because of their efforts. The 8th Annual conference was a great success. The board is busy planning for the 9th conference as well as regional training for this coming fall. Soon we will put the dates and location for the regional training in the training section. The 9th annual conference will be April 27, 28, and 29, 2009. We are also excited to be hosting the National Council of Negotiator Association annual meeting at this conference. There will be board members from all over the country at the conference. I encourage you to check back for more information.
